Built on the walls of a medieval salt market, in the stunning surroundings of the canyon and overlooking the Cetina River, the Kaštil Slanica restaurant offers a truly authentic ambience. Here you can try real homemade bread under the peka iron bell and taste the traditional soparnik, treat yourself to the classic family feast dish - pašticada, enjoy the rožata caramel custard, brought to us by the old Venetians, and many other traditional local specialties. A pastry shop inspired by French desserts that are based on light sponge cakes and low-sugar cake fillings, which are both attractive in appearance and - most importantly - very tasty. A space decorated with Italian and French details that provides a pleasant ambience. The credit for the preparation of such amazing cakes goes to the owner whose recipes are based on various Gourmandis master classes taught by some of the best pastry chefs in the world such as Karim Bourgi, Johan Martin and Guillaume Maubilleau.
