Our culinary offer is based on authentic Dalmatian cuisine, old family recipes, traditional ways of preparation and local, fresh, seasonal produce. Here you can try real homemade bread under the peka iron bell and taste the traditional soparnik, treat yourself to the classic family feast dish - pašticada, enjoy the rožata caramel custard, brought to us by the old Venetians, and many other traditional local specialties. The selection of wines of Dalmatian varieties goes perfectly with the dishes offered, providing a true experience of Dalmatia.

Throughout a long part of its history, Omiš was well known as a pirate town. Relying on their maritime tradition, the pirates of Omiš were a source of fear in their waters, and even in many remote areas of the Adriatic Sea. They largely owe their fame to their quick boats known as SAGITTAE (locally strile, meaning arrows).
